So much better than those cheap 3xAAA UV lights in a compact form factor. It's basically the same as the other "Tool AA" lights, but with a UV LED.

Like the other "Tool AA" lights, it can run from a single AA alkaline or rechargeable NiMH battery, but its brighter when using the higher voltage Lumintop Lithium Ion rechargeable 14500 cell, which was included with mine when I ordered it (1000mAh, 3.7V, 3.7Wh). The picture on their website still shows the older 920mAh battery, but mine did come with the newer 1000mAh version!

No need to worry if you don't have a Li-Ion charger, because the Lumintop 14500 cell has a USB-C input for charging from any 5V USB port, and has a red/green charge status indicator.

This light is something I've been looking at for years, and finally ordered during the Spring Sale event, and now I'm wondering why I didn't get one sooner?

way better than a standard blacklight for scorpions, it really makes things pop with the filter it has, the glow cap and also the integrated tailcoat glow light is really cool. the rechargeable battery it comes with, that has built in charging port is super nice tough.

Works very well im stoked on my purchase and would buy again. And it came with the rechargible battery with a C charging port built into the battery.
