Lumintop Tool AA 3.0 900 Lumens 14500 EDC Flashlight

Great little flashlight. Like the fact you had upgraded the 950MaH battery to a 1000Mah battery, and same for the addition ordered spare batteries.
Like the sensitive control on the tail button and the luminous diffuser is great for reading in low light. Such a powerful EDC with a great flood and long reach. Not too sure if the two colour changing led's on the tail switch add any useful benefit, other than to let you know the torch is active, but without having to dismantle the small circuit board to remove them, a workaround is just unscrew the base slightly, which also has the benefit of saving the torch from accidently being switched on in your pocket.
So a great little EDC for a great price.

I've had the "Lumintop Tool AA 3.0 (900 Lumens) 14500 EDC Flashlight" for a few years now (in blue), and I decided to get a green one as a backup, because this is my favorite EDC flashlight of the very many I own.

It's just the right combination of size, weight, brightness and functionality, with plenty of modes and a relatively simple UI.

The newer green one came with the newer version of the 14500 Type-C Rechargeable Battery, which is now 1000mAh and 3.7Wh, although it's still listed as 920mAh (3.4Wh) on their website.

I ordered 3 flashlights and 2 spare batteries, and 2 of the 3 lights plus both of the spares were all the newer 1000mAh USB-C rechargeable Lithium Ion 14500 battery (3.7V/3.7Wh). Only the L1 headlamp had the previous 920mAh version (probably old stock, which is also likely why they haven't updated the site yet).

The Lumintop Tool AA 3.0 is an awesome EDC flashlight that I carry day and night now. The only thing I wish they'd add is a warmer version (it's a very cool color temp LED, probably around 6500K, and I prefer a bit warmer, around 4500~5000K).

Great torch

This flashlight is great. I love the different brightness levels and its cool that you get a diffuser for it. I also love the construction, it’s pretty solid. Another cool thing is the clip it comes with, it allows you to wear it on your cap. I ordered the magnetic cap for it and it’s really good.

Even bettervthan expected since the 14500 battery included was at a full 1000 mAh, an improvement over the 920 mAh battery privided the past several years.

I also have the Tool AA 2.0 and the 3.0 has much improved runtime at the medium level of 130 lumens, which is what I use the most.

And not least: the lamp head uses the same thread as the Lumintop EDC15, so I can now have a very short Tool AA 3.0 head on an EDC15 body/battery container, with a twisty user interface. Perfect to live deep in my everyday pants.
